The story

Nexin was founded in 2017 by Dr Luke Innes, an NHS anaesthetics and ICU registrar, after he saw, repeatedly, how rota software displays the rota but does not improve it. Stephen Innes, formerly Head of Delivery at NHS Digital, joined to lead the build.

Five years of clinical co-design, a 232-doctor study, and a Covid-19 ITU surge-rota proof of concept later, Nexin scores Service Quality on every rota in a Directorate and rebuilds the day to maximise it.
